Zero insulation, which is the version you want unless you are sitting still in the cold — you generate plenty of heat walking, and a boot you can wear in September is worth more than one you can only wear in December. A Sympatex membrane keeps water out, and the whole boot is rebuildable, so a worn sole is a repair rather than a replacement. That last part is the argument for spending this much once.
