CED / Double Alpha

Deluxe Quick Patch Paster Tape Gun

$84.95

Squeeze, release, apply. It pastes a target faster than a hand can, which at a match means more shooting and less resetting.

A trigger-fed applicator that lays a paster on a bullet hole in one squeeze, off a roll mounted on the side. The case for it is time: reset is the part of a match day nobody signed up for, and reviewers of this one put it at three or four targets in the time hand-pasting does one. CED are explicit that it takes most brands of full-size patches on the market rather than a proprietary refill, which is the thing that usually spoils a tool like this — and Ben Stoeger's own listing for the gun points at the same 5,000-paster five-roll pack that is already on this shelf. Not cheap for what it is, and it is not for the person who shoots one match a year; it earns its keep on a range crew and at club matches where you reset all day.
