Vortex

Defender-XL Micro Red Dot, 5 MOA

$599.99

The dot on Riley's Staccato P. Vortex's big-window competition red dot, 5 MOA, on the DeltaPoint Pro footprint.

Vortex built the Defender-XL for the competition pistol: the sight window is the point of it, oversized for peripheral vision and faster follow-up shots, behind an aspherical lens for a distortion-free picture. The 5 MOA dot is the middle of three (2 and 8 also offered), bright red, with ten daylight settings and two more for night vision, motion activation with a ten-minute auto-shutoff, and a button lockout so the brightness can't get knocked in the bag. Battery is a CR2032 loaded from the top, so a change doesn't cost the zero, and Vortex rates it at 25,000 hours. 1 MOA clicks, 40 MOA a turn, 120 MOA of elevation and 115 of windage, parallax free, unlimited eye relief. The face is textured for racking the slide off a table edge or a belt, there's a ShockShield polymer insert against hard use, and the single-piece chassis is matte black anodized. 1.93 ounces, 2.03 inches, 10mm deck height, DeltaPoint Pro footprint. Comes with a Picatinny mount, a Glock MOS plate, the common screw sets, a tool, a rubber cover and the battery. Waterproof, fogproof, shockproof, and the unlimited unconditional lifetime warranty.
