A gravity feeder for whole cottonseed, which is the summer protein the Hill Country deer want and the feed that raccoons, hogs and birds won't touch, so nothing but deer eats it. Three hundred and fifty pounds in a welded-mesh steel cage, 57 inches tall, powder-coated to stand in the weather. A V-channel inside pushes the seed out to the sides as it drops so the deer can always reach it through the mesh instead of standing over an empty edge, and the whole thing sits on four splayed legs with foot plates. No motor, no timer, no battery; the deer meter it themselves.
