Reveal X Ultra 3.0
$139.99
Riley's cell cameras. What's on the feeder at 3 a.m. shows up on the phone by 3:01, and the ones worth keeping go into Trail Cams here.
A cellular trail camera: it takes the picture and sends it to the Reveal app over the cell network, so the camera gets checked from the truck, the office or the couch instead of by walking in and spooking everything. The X Ultra 3.0 is the step up from the plain X: a 60-degree field of view, 0.35-second trigger, video to 1080p and thirty seconds, one-to-nine-shot bursts, and an IR flash that switches between 96-foot low-glow and 80-foot no-glow depending on whether the deer are the kind that notice. Live video streaming and on-demand photo and video requests from the app, firmware over the air, 16 GB built in with an SD slot on top, a two-inch screen with live aiming so setup is one trip, and an antenna that comes installed. The built-in GPS keeps sending coordinates even with the power gone and raises the alarm if the camera moves more than half a mile, which is to say if somebody carries it off. Reveal's plan is separate and monthly.
