The 6-volt brick that lives in a spin feeder: 4.5 amp-hours, sealed lead-acid in absorbent-glass-mat form, so it's spill-proof, maintenance-free and can be mounted on its side or upside down if the feeder box demands it. F1 spade terminals, the small quarter-inch ones the feeder harness clips onto. Built for float and cyclic duty, which is exactly a feeder's life, held up by a solar panel and pulled down twice a day, and it shrugs off the vibration, shock and heat of a steel box in a Texas August. Universal Power Group makes it; treeline is Tractor Supply's label on it, and the box number 45953 is the same either way. A year's warranty.
