YETI
Tundra 105 Hard Cooler, Tan
$525
The tall one. Built for long hunting trips: a smaller footprint in the truck bed, and room to stack meat high with ice on top.
YETI drew the Tundra 105 taller and narrower than a standard cooler so it takes less room in a truck bed or a boat, and says the extra height is for stacking meat and drinks with room left for a layer of ice on top; they pitch it at extended hunting trips with limited cargo space. It holds 139 cans, or 93 pounds of ice on its own, and comes with one dry goods basket. Rotomolded, with up to three inches of pressure-injected polyurethane in the walls, a freezer-style gasket, T-Rex lid latches, a two-pin hinge, rope handles, non-slip feet, tie-down slots and a leakproof drain. Certified bear-resistant by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee when it's locked with long-shank padlocks. Five-year warranty. Tan in the picture; the Tundra runs from 35 to 350 in other sizes.
