Field & Stream Pet Food Co. launched Pack Provisions in late 2025, and this is the beef recipe: beef meal first, then barley, whole-grain sorghum, soybean meal, ground corn, chicken by-product meal and chicken fat, with pork liver, plasma, lung and kidney further down the list. Those organ meats are the point of the Backwoods Bites, the darker kibble mixed through the bag, which the company describes as an organ-rich superfood kibble packed with amino acids, B vitamins and iron. Pre- and postbiotics for the gut and antioxidants for immunity. 25% protein and 12% fat minimum, 299 calories a cup, and it's formulated to AAFCO profiles for all life stages including the growth of large-breed dogs, so a pup and an old dog eat from the same bag.
