A 10 oz bag of Field & Stream Pack Provisions chicken-flavor jerky dog treats, a golden retriever sitting in the bed of a red pickup on the front, with a window showing the jerky strips.

Field & Stream

Pack Provisions Chicken Flavor Jerky, 10 oz

The treat in the truck door. Tears into pieces, so one strip is three good-dog moments.

Field & Stream's jerky treat: chicken first, then barley, pork liver, pork lung, chicken by-product meal and vegetable glycerin, with pork kidney and spleen further down as part of the Backwoods Bites organ blend. Chewy, and it breaks into smaller pieces, which is the point of a training treat. Each strip is about 15 grams and 48 calories at 28% protein and 10% fat, 18% moisture. The bag's own rule is the sensible one: treats no more than a tenth of the day's calories, water always out, and watch the dog while she eats it. 10 oz. Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. The bag has a golden retriever on it rather than the shorthair, for whatever that's worth.
