Felker Leigh Kropff
The Hill Country Hitters' gun dog. She came from Classic Gun Dogs, and she works the dove fields with a Garmin on her collar and, some mornings, a GoPro on her chest — the Felker Cam, which is the retrieve from her side of it.

Field & Stream
Pack Provisions Beef Meal & Barley Recipe, 5 lb
What Felker eats. Field & Stream's dog food, with a German shorthair on the bag, which is either a coincidence or good marketing.
Field & Stream
Pack Provisions Chicken Meal & Vegetable Recipe, 32 lb
The other bag in the rotation. Same dog on the front, chicken instead of beef, and the 32-pounder lasts a shorthair a while.
Field & Stream
Pack Provisions Salmon Meal, Rice & Trout Recipe, 5 lb
The third bag, the fish one. Same dog, same truck, and the omega-3s are what keep a shorthair's coat looking like the one on the front.
Field & Stream
Pack Provisions Recovery Supplement Chews, 10 oz
One chew in the tailgate after a morning of running fields. Felker's version of the post-workout shake.
Field & Stream
All-Weather Outdoor Pet Cot
Felker's bed at camp and on the porch. Off the ground, air underneath, and it hoses off.
Field & Stream
Pack Provisions Beef & Beef Liver Dinner, 12.5 oz
The can. A spoon of it over the kibble on the nights she's earned it.
Field & Stream
Pack Provisions Chicken & Rice Dinner, 12.5 oz
The other can. Chicken and rice for the nights the beef one's gone.
Field & Stream
Pack Provisions Chicken Flavor Jerky, 10 oz
The treat in the truck door. Tears into pieces, so one strip is three good-dog moments.
